There are various sizes available for Double charge tiles. The general size for the double charge is 600 x 600 Mm (2×2 Ft). Mainly there are two main sizes 600×600 Mm and 800×800 Mm.

 

1 – 600 x 600 Mm – 4 pieces per box – 28 Kg – 15.5 Sq Ft – 1.44 Sq mt. 

2 – 600 x 1200 Mm – 2 pieces per box – 30 kg – 15.5 Sq Ft – 1.44 Sq mt.

3 – 800 x 800 Mm – 3 pieces per box – 40 kg – 20.65 Sq Ft – 1.92 Sq Mt

4 – 800 x 1200 Mm – 2 pieces per box – 45 kg – 20.65 Sq Ft – 1.92 Sq Mt.

 

 

How to calculate the area of the tiles 

 

There are two ways to calculate the price for double charge vitrified tiles, one is Square Feet (SQFT) and the other is Square Meter(SQM).  

To calculate the size and prices required for double charge tiles you may need to measure the exact length and width of the space where you want to lay the tiles.

Generally in India for selling double charge tiles the most popular term used is Square Feet for manufactures and sellers. I will explain to you in terms of Square Feet.  

• SQ FT – Square Feet (a term used in India for calculating the prices of tiles)
• SQM – Square Meter ( Term used for export for calculating the prices of tiles)
• Box Rate ( Term used for Retail selling of Tiles) 

Price for Double Charge Tiles

 

1 – 600×600 Mm Or 2 Feet x 2 Feet

 

 

This is the most popular and in-demand size known as (600 x 600 Mm) or (2 ft x 2 ft). 

In this size, there are 4 tiles packed in one box, so to calculate the total area covered check the details below

600×600 Mm x 4 tiles per one Box = 600*600*4= 1440000 Sq Mm . 

This is the total area in Millimeter to convert in meters; it will be 1.44 SQM per box. Now to convert SQM to SQ FT from, you need to multiply the area value by 10.76

1.44 SQM * 10.76 = 15.50 SQ FT per one box

But these are technical terms used by manufacturers, dealers, and wholesalers. If you have visited the tiles shop nearby your area, the majority of you will get the rates based on the Box Rate. 

To calculate the box rate for double charge tiles based upon the Sq Ft you may use the above term. Considering the Ex-Factory Rate for Double charge Vitrified Tiles for 600×600 as Rs 25 for light color series. 

Basic Ex-Factory Rate = 25 per Square Feet Plus 18 percent GST

Rates Including GST = 25 * 18 % GST (Rs 4.5 Per SQFT) = Rs 29.5 Per Sq FT

The Rs 29.5 is the rates per one Sq Ft for Ex factories including GST. Now in order to calculate the rates for one box = 29.5 * 15.5 (Sq Ft per one Box) = Rs 457.25 per one Box.

After That there are also Loading Charges, Insurance Charges, Transportation Charges, Unloading Charges to reach the dealers shop. 

In short for 600×600 Mm with 4 pieces packaging in one box the area covered will be 15.5 SQ FT or 1.44 SQM.

 

2- 800 x 800 Mm Multi Charge Tiles.

 

 

This is another popular size 800×800 Mm used in double charge tiles. 

In 800×800 Mm size there are 3 tiles packed in one box, so to the calculate the total area covered check the details below

800×800 Mm x 3 tiles per one Box = 800*800*3= 1920000 Sq Mm . 

This is the total area in Millimeter to convert in meters; it will be 1.92 SQM per box. 

Now to convert in SQM to SQ FT, you need to multiply the area value by 10.76

1.92 SQM * 10.76 = 20.65 SQ FT per one box

To calculate the box rate for double charge tiles based upon the Sq Ft you may use the above term. Considering the Ex-Factory Rate for Double charge Vitrified Tiles for 800×800 Mm as Rs 33 for light color series. 

Basic Ex-Factory Rate = 33 per Square Feet Plus 18 percent GST

Rates Including GST = 33 * 18 % GST (Rs 5.94 Per SQFT) = Rs 38.94 Per Sq FT

The Rs 38.94 is the rate per one Sq Ft for Ex factories including GST. Now in order to calculate the rates for one box = 38.94 * 20.65 (Sq Ft per one Box) = Rs 804.11 per one Box.

After That there are also Loading Charges, Insurance Charges, Transportation Charges, Unloading Charges to reach the dealers shop. 

In short for 800×800 Mm with 3 pieces packaging in one box the area covered will be 20.65 SQ FT or 1.92 SQM.
